Model A Front Axle?

Not for some time now, but there is no reason one wouldn't work fine. Only problem would be the fact they are not dropped in stock form, so the frontend would sit a little higher. Lot's of rat rods are running around with them and doing just fine. Later spindles (37-48) will go right on, as will later brakes and/or disc brake conversions.

I got the idea from an old build a T Bucket on a budget
book, a friend sent me a copy of it out of the book! What
year model axle did you both use?

Thanks,
Johnny!

The axles from "28 to "31 were the same.

Thanks,
I'll keep my eye out at the swap meets for one!
I want to put disc brakes on the front which will
work best Ford or Chevy?

Johnny!

yea you see alot of them used on cars, the front perch is located about 5 inches higher.
