I'm starting to collect the parts that I need for my budget build and I came across a steering box assy from a Model A, will it work ok for the T-bucket?
The steering gear and column are one piece so it really limits you regarding mounting position options. Plus they are old technology and not great on a good day. I would go with a Vega or Corvair box. They are conventional, good quality, common for these cars and easy to mount. You will likely be much happier in the end.

Look at bobs and ExJunks build thread. Both have vega boxes, ExJunks is side steer mounted up front and bobs is mounted on side In front of firewall. Both are done very safely and nicely done and the vega box is very cheap.
