Motor mounts

OK, I'm starting to get serious about my C-cab build.
I would like to know what y'all are doing for motor mounts.
I have an older TP frame. there are 4 holes already drilled and tapped on each side of the frame, for what I assume is the motor mounts.
all the mounts I can find just have 3 holes:sad:

am I just not looking in the right place? or are those holes for something else??

Personaly i DONT like to bolt motor mounts to a frame that thin.Due to the abuse YOU WILL GIVE IT.I fabbed mine out of 1/4 plate and WELDED them to the frame(Heli-Arc less heat stress).

After welding i smothed the welds and molded them.(Sorry about the dirt SHE needs a shampoo also.

I like the idea of welding them to the frame. 'cuz I can't guarantee I WON'T stand on it from time to time

Like i said i made mine but you can get a set from Chassis Engineering they look about the same.

Mine mounts are designed to stock GM mounts, just another design idea.

Becky is still in need of a shampoo, maybe next weekend.

I just got a set of front radius rods from him today.

I don't do my mounts in my buckets like that. I use a cross member under the engine and use stock mounts. Either rubber one or I like the solid ones from Moroso or Speedway. I could fab you a cross member that you could weld in.

Are you happy with those radius rods?

I haven't looked at the radius rods yet.:sad:
I didn't get off work till almost 9 pm last night.
I know they are here.
I'll look at them tonight, providing I get home at a decent time

I did a mock-up this weekend, those radius rods are bitchin'
(after I figured out the bat wings were on backwards)

My Momma did'nt raise dumb kids, just ugly ones:lol:
