My New Purchase

Been a while since I've been on and posted. Life after the fire service is grand, don't miss it a bit (except the troops). I just picked this little beauty up in IN a couple weeks ago. It's a 1954 Ford Customline 4 Door, 223 I-6, Ford-O-Matic with 50K original miles, always garage kept. Body, chrome, and interior are in fine shape considering it's 55 years young.

Sooo, that means the T is up for sale. It's been fun but it's time for something more substancial. Besides the rough ride is getting to be too much for the wife and me. Also we are always having to plan around the pop up rains storms. We hate being slaves to the weather.

Nice

Wow, it looks like you found a once in a lifetime car. I don't blame you for parting with a T-bucket for it.

Cool car. I always remember the '53 my friend had back in the day. I loved that car. Dumped in the front, black primer, chrome rims (no hub caps), black tuck n' roll, 3 on the floor, stock flathead and twin glass packs.

My high school ride(58-60) was a '53 two door post. Black w/white top. Had a stock flatie w/glass packs. Car was really straight but would run a little hot in parades. Sold it when I joined the AF. One of those I wish I had back.
