Need Help with I.E. 9

I recently upgraded to I.E.-9.

In I.E-8 when I had read a post and returned to the thread listing, the title would turn pink. With the upgrade it does not do that any more so I find myself re-reading many posts.

Does anyone know what box I can check to get the process back?

You had me going on that one for a bit. I suppose I simply require more coffee. Particularly since I am still on the first pot.

The icons next to the thread title will clue you in on what has been read and what hasn't been read.

I'm actually using the blue skin (which is why I was confused) but the only difference is the color.



You can see there is a dark folder icon next to a topic I have yet to read, whereas that icon is shaded for a topic I have read.

There is a legend at the bottom of the forum view pages, to show you what the icons mean -



You can click on those attachments to see them more clearly.

I'm a computer idiot. I don't dare try to change to something like Ubuntu because I would be like a chimp in space. You can send a chimp into space but you can't make him do anything more than play with his poop once he's there. A couple of months ago I updated to IE9 and it seemed that everything was screwed up so I uninstalled it and everything went back to normal. I hate Windows, I hate Microsoft. Bill Gates is the richest person in the world yet his products are among the most expensive junk around. Not much else to say.

Sorry, but my question was not about the tbucketeers site.

I was asking about sites like cars-on-line.com. All the car titles are blue until you look at one. When you return to the main menu, the car name is pink, indicating that I have already looked at it. Dumping my cache will also turn all of the titles blue again.
