Hi, new here from Portland, Oregon. I'm starting a t bucket build and have found this forum to be really helpful. Here's what I have so far, speedway '23 body, model A front end, 8" rear, Hurst drag slicks and I'm a hot mopar flathead 6 for it.

Love the idea of the Mopar flattie for one of these. Planning to adapt a modern transmission or use the old three-speed?

Welcome from Northern Illinois, Bryan.

I plan on using a 200R4 behind the flathead. I built a '41 Dodge sedan last winter with the original flathead and stock 3 speed and it starts to whine pretty good at about 70mph, the factory 4:11 rearend doesn't help though.

Welcome from eastern PA. When I was younger one of the neighbors on the farm had a piece of equip with a flat head six and a 4" straight pipe, sounded pretty good for a 6
