Oh now that's just the cat's meow.
I can't wait to show this to one of the other instructors at the college where I work.
He does a "First Lego League" competition thingy plus he teaches Electronics.
I'll challenge him to build this.

Check out the Lego Mindstorms line. The only difference between men and boys... :jawdrop:

We use the Mindstorm gear for a "Logic and Problem Solving" course. Students have to build and program the units to navigate obstacle courses and perform tasks like finding and picking something up and then placing it somewhere.
They have a ball and get an intro to robotics, programming, teamwork and stuff.
