Update on my project. Got some new tires for the rear and took it for a long drive. All was good. Its been puffing smoke like I had a broken ring, and since it has been parked for over 2 decades I planned on taking out and rebuilding the engine anyway this winter.

Winter has arrived so I took it out and looky there.....ventilation.

Since the block was scored, bearings were cooked and the crank was damaged I decided to grab a free old small block I had available and tear it down to see what my options were. As it turns out what my guy I got it from thought was a 350, was actually a 350 with 400 crank and rods....so a 383 short block. Its mint so I will just ring and bearing it and run that one, save the 327 for a later date maybe.

I took a drive up to Summit this morning and came home with a truck load of shit to bring this ol girl back to life, now the fun begins.

Yeah, didnt get too crazy...but a T has to sound like a T.....must have a lope. LOL Should be nice and reliable.
