New to T's and new to the forum, and have a question about MAS bodies

Hi Guys and thanks for having me, I am about 1/2 way through my first bucket build, I am using a MAS glass body. Even though MAS is gone, the molding shop here in minnesota that made their bodies, is still making them and selling them on the side from their normal business. I have one of these bodies, and have hit a stumbling point. Does anyone know what windshield will work with these. I am trying to find a lay back style, but have no idea where to start.

Thanks
Travis

Hello from Owatonna. Where are you located? A stock '23 windshield will fit your body. It's pretty easy to cut a set of stock posts to lay them back a bit.

Ron, I am in Stillwater, but the car is at my lake house / shop in Bemidji where i do most of my mechanical work. I have seen a couple for sale here, one in particular was a complete windshield that was 39 inches wide. Is that the stock width?
Thanks
Travis

Maybe a layback is not such a great idea as i just read about how getting the wind in your eyes all the time is not so fun., perhaps the way to do it would be a 14 inch straight windshield, CCR has got the brackets, and they say they will make the frame to what ever your needs are. the standard frame is 40 1/8 wide.

Any thoughts guys?

Check with them, last i heard it was like 4to6 weeks for the windshields.

I was raised in Stillwater. Lived there till the eary '70's.

The stock Ford lower frame width is 39 1/4". That's with the stock short posts. The later long posts ('25 type) may be different. I just picked up a pair of short posts and a lower frame this weekend for $50 at a flea market.
