Well, if you look at where the top of front tires align with the rad shell (just below the angled top, or the inside of the rim even with the top of the headers)
and the top of the rear tires (about the height of the bottom of the cowl lights or just above the raised bead of the pickup bed side)
I think it shows up as the same, it's just a matter of perspective.
That first shot is down low and close, which accentuates the rake.
I've got rake in mine and it's something that is more or less obvious depending on your view point.
Before I got mine, I kept an eye out for details like this. I actually prefer a bit of rake, although it's not the way most newer ones are built. I would have been happy either way.
This goes all the way back to the first few original T-Buckets, past 20's to early 50's Gow jobs, track Ts and circle track Ts.

Norm's has a bunch of rake. It can be ungainly at some angles, but is simply amazing in others.

Ivo's has the main components all level, with just the 'rubber rake'.
This is common in newer kits and builds. It's easier to pull off, but looks a bit less wild.
