Just a follow up on my cooling situation. On my trip to Oklahoma City this weekend, which is about 12o miles from my house, everything seems ok. Once on the road, the temp stayed at 180 or just a couple of degrees under. Once in OKC, in heavy stop and go traffic, long waits at lights, it rose to 200 but would drop back to 190 between lights. My engine ran better, and it got 18.5 mpg at 70 to 80 mph.
I am satisfied with the temps, and guess everything is normal.
