What gauge sheet metal are you using? Good start!

Ron

thanks, its 18 gauge, rear ladder bars are going to be on the sides of the body,so they wont be under the bucket.I just need to figure out the front, need to get it 2 inches lower.i will take some pics and get some of the forum members ideas, you guys are full of very useful ideas.thanks again

The pictures are TOO small I can't get any detail on the front suspension. Anyway you can make them bigger?
the frame is just resting on the front axle so i can roll it around.theres no suspension in place at the moment.
Id like to do front coilovers, any pros,cons..i havent seen many with them up front.I also have a vega box for traditional steering,id have to reverse it.But im thinking going with a ford box, just seems it would be more durable??
I have a stock 400sbc and a th 350..this project is kind of out of the box for me,im used to building circle track cars and lots of rock crawlers.this will be my first complete hot rod build from scatch.im having fun with it so far.

We have a bracket to use that Vega box for traditional steering, so there is no need to reverse it.
