Problem with forum

Hey guys I was wondering if any one else is having problems viewing the website? Every since friday I cannot view any of the posts, I can see the posts but if I click on one it redirects me to McAfee virus scan saying that it detected a breach. Its on both of my computers

Hmmm.... sounds like you have a virus that has been shared to both of your computers... Once their cleaned, you should think about tightening up your home security a tad! Good luck!

You can try to do a quick fix by doing a system restore to a few weeks back...

I have to believe it is a client-side issue. I've used three different operating systems, 4 different computers and two different ISP's and cannot duplicate the problem.

Your computer is infected. They are just trying to sell you a McAffee program. A voice of experience. You will have to run a cleaner. If you don't have one, contact your local computer repairman. If you contact your computer manufacturer, they will also attempt to sell you one of theirs. It is best to get a third party opinion.

Well this is the only web site that I have this problem with since fri evening. Both my wife and I use both computers for our jobs and have no trouble with them, so it really narrows it down it seems

My thoughts, exactly.

I sweep the server with a virus check every 24 hours and it has yet to find anything.

Last evening, I logged into the forum via two different mobile phones and have no issues there, either. I've tested everything I can possibly test from this end and the result is zero problem.

That makes three PC's (two on Windoze XP SP3, one on Ubuntu 8.04), one iMac (on OS X 10.5.7), two ISP's, one G-1 mobile and one Blackberry mobile, none of which exhibited any issues.

No other members have mentioned having the same problem you are experiencing. There have been 176 members here in the last 24 hours, by the way.

So I do agree with you, that does seem to narrow things down. If you know of another test I might be able to run for you, please let me know.
