first off hi to every one i have been here a million times but this will be my first post. great info here love the site!!!

Im building a 23t using a spirit frame (one amazing company to deal with) and none other than rpm radius rods:D thanks Ron they are great. ford 9'' and a 383 stroker chevy. i have the front set up and im now working on the rear. i have the rods mounted and now????

I am trying to decide on shocks i dont want to skimp on the suspension but all i see is QA1 or some cheap knock off. are there other coil over kits? the price does not scare me i just want options no one company can be the best

what part number do most use, like spirit? QA1 wise. i need specs for mock up before i buy they have a good price on the pair.

Go on line and use the keywords: chrome coilovers. You will find several moderately priced up to the Viper. Good Luck1

After a couple of years and lots of miles on the cheap coilovers, swapped over to some QA1's I got from Lee...

MAN what a difference. Suspension is where you need to spend the money.

You can save money on anything and everything else but if the ride sucks, you ain't gonna be driving it as much.

I love LOVE LOVE driving my bucket now, it was definitely worth the swap to GOOD coilovers.

There might be other stuff out there but I'm very happy with mine.

I've had very good luck with QA1's. I've used them on 5 cars and they have not been a problem. Greart ride too. Get mine from Speedway.

Whereabouts in Maryland? My Spirit kit is currently on a truck enroute to Perry Hall. It would be nice to meet some local bucketeers.

There are all kinds of coil overs .
Aldan
Afco
Carrera
Pro shocks
Heidt's
Tci
Qa1
Koni

I've used afco qa1and koni, afco has some very nice streetrod shocks, I've used qa1 several times and have never had any problem with them.
I'm using Aldan Eagles this time, they are all aluminum and made in USA..
