Radiator Hoses

I have a Chevy 350 with a 360 deg. swivel water intake and a 69 Ford radiator (passenger inlet/outlet). I have gone to Napa, Autozone and Oreilly Autoparts for the upper and lower hoses. Nobody seems to carry anything that is the correct size or the correct shape. Yes, I have gone in the back and looked myself. As somebody has said before, the help tends to give you a funny look when you tell them it is a 23 T. Those that have a similar set-up, what did you do?

Thanks,
PaulR

I will be in a similar situation with mine. I plan on buying a hose with a lot of bends so I can cut it up and some straight metal pipe. You can also buy those flexi hoses, but I don't like the looks of them.

Paul: I used a fairly heavy duty universal hose for my upper rad hose. It is heavier and better made then some of the cheaper "flexible" rad hoses. I think I bought the upper at Advance or Autozone. I actually like the looks of it and will probably switch out the bottom one as well. Here is a shot of mine:

Thanks for the pictures and comments. I like the looks of the Spectre Hoses. I may go with the heavy duty universal hoses for now to get the engine running and then switch over to the Spectre Hoses at a later date.

Ben I love all the blue. Even the engine paint is perfect, really nice ride.
