Ram Horns for exhaust

Still in the planning stage of my build. Was curious to know if anyone was running Ram horns or shorty headers with pipes under the car?

Welcome, Houch! And yes, a lot of the "track style" roadsters run the pipes under the car, since they usually have a hood over the engine.

I love the looks of a track t with a track nose and a full hood.

This car I had in 65-66 had ram exhaust manifolds that dumped straight to the pavement. Drove it all over east West Tennessee and North Alabama while in the Army at Redstone Arsenal. If and when I build another roadster and if it's a small block that is what I will run again although I probably would add small diameter mufflers. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I thought about using cut outs to run quieter exhaust on mine, but unless it happens as a revision, I’m going to just use the vintage side pipes that came on it for starters. I have enough bridges to build as is. I love hearing a thumpy v8 but it does wear on me on long road cruises and it’s not conducive to quietly slipping home, lol...
