On this day, let us lift up prayers of thanksgiving for those who have sacrificed their lives so that we might live free.

On this day, let us lift up prayers of support, seeking strength and Peace for those who have lost beloved friends and family to military service.

And on this day, let us lift up beseeching prayers that mankind might find ways to settle differences without the loss of life, that no more have to suffer.

I thanked an elderly gentleman for serving he was in a marine jacket on wednesday from my vehicle in a parking lot.He was parked in the disabled parking spot but made his way over to my vehicle just to shake my hand and thank me for remembering those who have served.The small things like this in life like this just make my day to bring happiness to others.
