    Someone mentioned the engine angle for the carb to be level, that's important for oil drainage too. My buddy put a caddi engine in a Chevy truck and refused to modify the oil pan to allow the engine to sit down in right, he had issues with the carb(q jet). We milled a spacer plate to offset the angle. It wasn't my prefered fix, but it worked. A torpedo level is a good tool for mock up.

    Well if I get some time I'll see about adding a short pump small block. Might take a while!
