Sears is a stand up company... please read

Sears by law are required to hold employees who are called up for military duty jobs open and available, but nothing more. Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs for all called up reservist employees for up to 60 months.

Before I posted this, I sent an e-mail to the Sears Customer Service Department to verify this and this was their response:

Thank you for contacting Sears.The information is factual. We appreciate your positive feedback.

Sears regards service to our country as one of greatest sacrifices our young men and women can make. We are happy to do our part to lessen the burden they bear at this time.

So perhaps you might want to consider doing some of your holiday shopping at Sears as well as other companies that support our troops!
 
i have a lot of sears stuff in my shop. they have always been easy to deal with. this just confirms my loyalty to them. thank you to this and all companies that support our people in harms way. i salute you all.

I managed an auto shop for Sears back in the 80s they were pretty good to work for. But they have very few full time employees most work about 30 hours a week( no benifits).
