Spark plug wires

Ok...I looked around and now I can't remember where I saw it but I am looking for the way to run the spark plug wires to the right and left banks without all that crossing over. I remember hearing that you place the #1 pointing at the #1 piston. I believe it was Rosters car. I'll go check again but if you can help please let me know.

Wayne, perhaps these pictures might help you.

Hey that'll work. I guess I just need to tuck everything around back like you did. I know I saw somewhere on here though that you can set a standard dist. cap up to look like the cross fire style which allows you run all your wires that come off the cap go to that side except 2 that will have to cross. I just can't seem to find it now. But I do like the way yours look so maybe I'll go that route.

Again Thanks.

Wayne, here is a really neat way to accomplish what you want.

Crossfire Distributor Cap

I have that on my '37, however, I thought that you wanted an "inexpensive" method of accomplishing what you want so I did not give you that info in my earlier post.

Exjunk, I like the way you showed it in the picture. Unless the car has been done for awhile, the crossfire cap is an un-needed expense.
