steering box question

Hi all , i am currently on the hunt for a vega /astre steering box ,my ? is, is the monza box similar and or can you suggest any other boxs that could do the job ,most yards round here crush older cars ...thanx in advance Kev

Vega, Astre, Monza, Sunbird, Starfire, Skyhawk up through 1980 are all the same. Not to be confused with the Sunbird and Skyhawk from the '80s, which are Cavalier clones.

At that price it really makes no sense to have to pull one from a wreck. Steering boxes do get sloppy after time so that is a huge reason to just buy brand new. I'm surprised it is that cheap because the knock off Corvair boxes are up near $ 400 now.
