Suspension Squeak

My car has a loud squeak in the rear suspension when I push down on the bucket, mostly on the passenger side. I think it's the coilover(s), but spraying the springs/seats/bushings with WD40 doesn't help. I've also sprayed the rear RR bushings and heim. Is there something inside the coilovers that might cause this when they get old? These are probably the originals from 10 or 12 years ago.

Are you sure it's the suspension? I had a similar squeak that turned out to be the deck lid rubbing on the side of the bed.

Well, when I got in the bucket this morning, it was dead quiet. The WD40 must've soaked in somewhere. I'll have to be more selective where I spray it next time.

If you can hear squeaks and rattles, your mufflers are too quiet. ;)
Hahaha....so true! Mufflins? What Mufflins?????

If its a bushing in the Coil-overs on top or bottom a little silicon grease will quieten it down. IF, a welt between your body and frame or if your upper and lower coilover bushing aren't removable, a good silicon spray will help. Jusy spray it good and let it penetrate in some. Wipe off the excess....
I know if you ever replace some of these bushings with the Energy Suspension bushings, and you don't use the silicon grease, it'll squeak its butt off....
