T-bucket Body

I have a Total Performance T-Bucket frame and i am needing a body. I am trying to find one cheaper than the speedway body. Can anyone recommend a good quality body with 14" bed installed and also offers a seat insert?

Thanks,
Zack

Have you checked out Spirit Industries in Mt Home, Ar.??

Any time someone comes along and asks about where to find [insert part here] for a T-Bucket, I start wondering if the Suppliers & Manufacturer's Forum has someone managed to get up and walk away in this middle of the night.

These companies all support the T-Bucket market, every day. And they also support this forum. So remember they are the first ones you should be looking to, when you need something for your T-Bucket. Why are people always ready to jump at Speedway? Does Speedway support this site? is Speedway spending their advertising dollars to help this site move forward?

Spirit industries has high quality bodies. RPM has high quality bodies. Wintec Fabrication has high quality bodies. And if you do not know where to contact these companies, look at the ads at the top of every page on this site for a clue.

We can show our appreciation for those who support us, by giving them our reciprocal support.

Not to mention the after service. I have bought stuff from RPM and and Wintec. I also got to take a tour of the old Spirit shop when I was driving by one year. Well not actually by but I drove 6 hours out of my way to do it. I was going to buy a Spirit car but I got such a good deal on my TP with 20 miles on the clock that I went that way.

Good luck, :)

I have checked and researched all the major suppliers already and yes i know this topic has been beat to death on here many many times already. Still, I am looking for an individual opinion from you guys for your idea/experiences for which is the best/better body and does not require millions of hours in wood reinforcing and glass work to make it usable. I watched my father spend days and days and days glassing and building wood stiffeners for his and i rather not have to go thru all of that. Of course that was in the mid 70's and i know things have changed since them but i prefer one that doesn't require that lengthy amount of prep work.

Also, how close to fitting a TP frame are the Wintec and Spirit bodies or is it even an issue?

Thanks

Zack you do have a valid question because there is still some very cheap (thin) bodies out there. It has been my experience that Speedway stuff is usually on the cheaper side but I have never seen their bodies.

I was fortunate enough to meet Jim, on a visit to Total Performance. And yes, he definitely belongs in the nice guy column.

But in phone conversations I've had with RPM and B.C., I can also see why they are so successful in their own businesses.

I agree the sponsors on here are tops. I was at Spirit sometime back and BC dropped everything to show me around his new shop, it's impressive. I have talked to RPM several times and he has given me information that I needed, and he is one of the most friendly people I have ever talked with.

I agree Francis, I also spoke with Spirit and i am very impressed with them. The main reason i went with Jim is because he offered the body setup exactly as i want and had one is stock that will ship out on Monday. I do feel that Spirit, RPM, and Wintec have super high quality stuff and i am sure in the coming months i will be making purchases from all of them. :winkn:

I have made sure to purchase from the big three here because they are supporting vendors. It costs these T suppliers money to be here, so why not?
In addition I have learned a lot from talking to all of them. This is what makes this forum one of the best-- the SV's :hi:
