I have a new 'putor and it works for me.......

It looks like Photobucket is redirecting everything to a Beta subdomain. But I am not having any issues with the page going blank.

Your computer's age won't have anything to do with the issue, but the age of the browser you are using just might. Can you give me some details about what version of what operating system you are using and what version of what browser you are using? I'm betting you are running an older version of Windows with a dated version of Internet Explorer. Give me those details (be specific - if you are running Windows XP, don't just say Windows) and I'll see if I can suggest a better route for you.

I would start by recommending you install Mozilla Firefox as your browser.

Thay changed Photobuckethere here in the UK .There was a link in the top corner so you can go beck to the old style .

I have a mac os x version 10.4.11 safari version 4.1.3 anything else I have no clue. No idea were to find other info out .

OK, 10.4.11 Tiger is now a tick over 5 years old. Have you considered an upgrade?

Unless there is an Apple guru around who can shed more light on the subject, I do not think Safari 5 is compatible with Tiger. I am of the understanding that 4.1.3 is the latest Safari release you can use. And it is now old enough that I question how well it can render today's page coding.

You can give Mozilla's Firefox a test-drive, but I think Firefox 3.6.28 is the latest release that Tiger can use there. Firefox is releasing a new stable upgrade every 6 weeks, so release numbers are growing by leaps and bounds, with Firefox 17 being the latest release. With Apple's upgrade strategies, I really think it's time for you to look into upgrading OS X.

I never could get into the entire OS X lifestyle, but I still use my mid-2007 iMac on a daily basis. I'm using it to type this message, as a matter of fact. I upgraded it from Leopard to Snow Leopard and then decided it was time to turn it into a Linux machine. :whistling:

I had someone try to install mozilla's firefox, he says my system was to old to accept it. Guess its time to upgrade if I want to post pics. There goes the front end suspension ...

Mike try sending those pictures to me, then I can post them for you.
Thanks Ron, I was thinking along that line. Wasn't sure how that would work. I'll send them. Thanks

Another example of the kind of guy that Ron is. He'll help anybody anyway that he can.

That can be a real issue, particularly with the way Apple handles its updates. When they release a new version of OS X, everyone running previous versions is thrown under the bus. I cannot make myself believe that is a fair arrangement, but I'm just one voice in the crowd. Apple and Microsoft love having the ability to sell operating systems to the world, but they need to build in some planned obsolescence, in order to keep their sales alive.

One thing to remember is that you can always install Linux on your machine and have it run faster, more securely and more reliably than the day it rolled off the assembly line at Apple. Installing Linux on the Intel Macs is a bit more involved than on an older Windows machine, but using a boot manager like rEFInd makes life a lot easier. Of the four computers here, my Linux iMac is the machine I select for everyday use. Apple built a really nice machine and the addition of Linux made it a really great machine.
