what thickness

Well it would be hard to give you a list. It would depend on what all you are going to make your self and what you will buy. On the frame I would use the 2x3 with a 3/16 wall then on the front cross member uas some 2 3/4 tube or some 2 1/2 pipe with a thick wall it comes out to 2 7/8od. As far as brackets, tabs, radius rods and stuff like that. There are just too many variables.

You might want to check out our Ebay store. We have all those brackets and stuff in stock.

3/16 works but 10 or 11 gauge will work as well. if you're going to use pipe for the front xmbr go with at least a 3/16" wall. if you use tubing 1/8" works just fine. JMO

I'm going to buy my steel Sat. and I'm not sure what thickness 2x3 tubing to get for the frame,Could someone give me a list of steel I will need?

Hey if it's not too late.......The CCR plan book says:

24ft of 2X3X3/16" (.188") ( i bought two lengths so I had extra)
3ft of 2 1/2 Round or as stated above....(front cross member)
3/8 plate for the Radius Rod Brackets

If you don't have any stock in the garage, prepare for a few trips to the steel store, you'll always need somethin!
Have fun......"BH"
