Screaming Metal, I have actually read that hotrod mag article. it really is a great explanation of what the flathead is! Where do I find the new blocks though?? I have saw a few ads, but no prices anywhere... I would not be against that idea for sure. I am already planning on about $6k in...

    Ford Flathead?

I am getting ready to start a new T Bucket build. I started one 2 years ago, but a career change and a cross country move forced me to sell what I had accomplished. I feel that it may have turned out to be a blessing though. I have done multiple projects, but never a bucket (completed) and I...

    RPM Bodies

WOW hahahaha I ask for a few dimensions and I get a whirlwind hahahaha... I havent and will not do anything yet. As for the steering box, I am not going to weld a bracket, I am planning on fabing a custom set up for that. I am just looking for a dimension for the frame using the 10" extended...

    RPM Bodies

Yeah I have actually decided that it would be best to wait for the body.... The sad part is that I am not buying it til I get back to NY in June. Its nerve racking really. I think I am actually going to just bolt on the steering box mount (I REALLY need to get the frame length done so I can...

    Confused about pinion angle

pinion angle is set based on the trans tail shaft angle. You want to be sure that BOTH of the ujoints on the driveline are angled a few degrees. If not they are actually weak and will break non stop (same if they are angled too much) . I do agree that the angle should be as much as the tail...

    Which heads should I get?

ba, those pro comp heads your talking about, I have seen and installed them for a friend. I was not impressed with them AT ALL. They looked pretty, and the valves were a nice size, but i wasnt getting what we expected out of them. I also tried flowing them on a bench and again, not impressive...

    Ford vs Chevy spindles/brakes

Well, I can say that the Chevy spindles are a little thicker and stronger. The mounting is definately different, BUT there is atleast 2 companies out there that make the GM spindles to mount to the ford axles so that you dont have to waste the $$. Just thought that I would ad that in there

    RPM Bodies

I do love this extended body! Ill finish setting up my frame next month and work on getting the last few parts i need for the rolling chassis. Ill order the body up after the holidays. Ill get the family to add in some money to put towards it and it wont hurt the pocket so much ;)

    RPM Bodies

    RPM Bodies

I have seen quite a few postings here reguarding RPM's stuff. From what I can see, the quality of his parts is very high. I just recently talked to him and I have to say, he was a very polite and helpful guy. I was curious how many people on here have used his 10" extended body with door and...

    T-Boy Body

Steve, I have to say this has to be one of the coolest builds I have seen. As I am VERY impatient, Im glad I came into this VERY late as it would have been driving me crazy waiting to see what the next cool addition would be to your build. I have just started my first build on a traditional T...
