    Color opinions

I think the cream would look the best, if you can deal w/ cleaning. I like the idea of the bright red also.

    Battery Location?

that looks good! mine is in between my fuel pump & gas tank, doesn't exactly give me the warm & fuzzies.

    FRONT LICENCES PLATE MOUNT

mine too... It's req'd in Ohio, but I've never had one since I started driving. I don't care for them aesthetically...28 years later, I've only had one warning about it. I think I live so close to the PA line, they don't really bother.

    ready for the season...

thanks guys! As far as handling, it feels SO MUCH better than it did. It's not grabbing any grooves, was worried about horror stories w/ the bias plys. I think it's just so light, it's not an issue w/ this car. I was planning on adjusting the toe-in after mounting these, but doesn't seem...

    ready for the season...

Picked up the new headers from powdercoat Saturday afternoon & spent half the day finishing it up, topped off fluids, made sure everything was tightened up. Took it for a spin early evening on Sunday, after chores... QUICK VIDEO - CLICKY I ended up running a couple studs with...

    First time out this year

That's awesome! Love the reactions too. I'm still waiting on a few things to get mine back together, weather hasn't been very cooperative either.

    Windshield Frame Material

You know, that was something else I considered too. It would be a good solution for the time being. Thanks.

    Windshield Frame Material

As far as the hinge/clamp goes...They are basic tall posts w/ the swivels/wingnuts/threaded rod at the top of the posts, nothing uncommon. Speedway still sells this style as well as others do. I've tightened them so much, one nut had stripped. I bought new swivels & new nuts, think maybe...

    Windshield Frame Material

Thanks. Mine would get cut if any work would have to be done to fit other posts & it would be the easiest thing to do & ensure that it fits properly the first time around. Mine were made for my body & while they lay back, it's only slight. Even if someone did need taller posts, they'd likely...

    Windshield Frame Material

thx, very helpful! I'll take a closer look at mine, they were made for my body in the early 70's, cutting them may be my best option. What dimensions do you need to make a frame? Would I measure my existing frame, outside corners (mine seems narrower than what is common these days) or the...

    Windshield Frame Material

I guess posts can't be edited...? I mean, I have tall posts & the mounting area on CCR posts looks pretty similar to mine, otherwise I'll end up cutting mine down & using them w/ a shorter 1 pc windshield. My posts are also laid back a wee bit & I would prefer a more straight/vertical...

    Windshield Frame Material

Do you have dimension info on your short w/s posts? Looking for hole distances & other dimensions. Yours look to be fairly close to what I have & I'm trying to determine if they'd fit my body or come close. If I were to purchase a set to try, can I return them w/ no problem if they are way...

    Cars In Brazil

Love your T. The green RPU is perfect. Nice pics.

    Lurker from OH

Yup! I think they've been running decent deals lately too for around $45 ea way. I wish they had more location options, it would be nice to roll out of bed into the airport in a matter of minutes instead of driving an hour to Pittsburgh/Cleve.

    Lurker from OH

Thanks for all the welcomes & thanks for the offer, Frank! I can remember my dad over the years stopping by & asking the guy if he could by it back, w/ no luck. I think I was more disappointed than he was each time. It's not going anywhere now. Even the few last months of summer I've had it...

    Lurker from OH

Saying hi. My T is something my dad built when I was 2. He sold it immediately after getting it titled. Long story short: 40 years later, it's back & mine now. I'm still straightening out little things from the hackasaurus that last owned it, but luckily no major changes to it for the most...
