    Front Suspension Issues

Ok, havent done much, been completing the frame and prepping it for the paint shop. Anyways, I checked the sqaureness? of the rear axle, and found there is a 1/2" difference between the 2 sides, from the axle tube to the eye of the heim joint where it bolts to it's mount. I've searched for some...

    Front Suspension Issues

I will check the geometry of the rear axle and then square up the front to it. I di have the thought that the hairpins could possibly raise the right side some. I will try that once i have the axles squared, and I make my camber adjustments. The front shocks were at even more of an angle...

I had the entire front end off to make repairs to the frame, when i put it back together thats when i started seeing the other issues, didnt take notice before removinf the parts, so im not 100% sure if it was an issue before. The front end came off as an assembly, and was rolled out of the way...

    Front Suspension Issues

1923 T-Bucket Not long ago, I brought the T to my shop where I work to fix some cooling issues, along with a couple small leaks, and in the process stumbled across some frame and suspension issues. The front of the frame had cracked around the front crossmember on both sides, and I found that...

    Steering stop

This thread just came in handy. I was going to weld a stop just behind the steering box to keep my left hand turns from causing the fender to hit the steering bar. This is a much better solution

    Hello From Florida

Lurked around, finding answers for some time here, and finally had some questions, so created an account and here I am. In the auto repair field since I was 17, still turning wrenches. While I still enjoy working on vehicles (for the most part), I get a lot more out of customs, hot rods and...

Switching from Brass, 4 core to Aluminum Rad ?? core

Sorry I haven't followed up with this, been busy working on cars during the day, and then this in the evenings a couple times a week. The frame is where I have spent most of my time, but that's another thread I'll start in the correct forums. I reassembled the front end so that I could drive it...

Switching from Brass, 4 core to Aluminum Rad ?? core

Wow! Fast and informative responses. I found the right place to ask. As you mentioned IndyCars, I tend to go overkill also. I went with the Brass 4 row radiator initially, because it looked very nice, matched the carb stacks and the firewall. (I've since gone to a single holley. The old Carter...
