'23 grill shell insert

I am looking for some type of wire mesh (chrome or stainless) to use as a insert. I have seen several companies online that sell what I am looking for except they are very expensive and most don't come in a big enough piece. Anyone have any ideas?

I bought my stainless steel fabric from McMaster Carr, they have all different sizes and mesh types.

I started to get mine from there, then I found it at WW Grainger cheaper.
