Big block radiator

what radiator are you using with your bigblock chevy T mine is going to be a stock BBC and turbo 400 trans. and what headers are you using? words are good pics are better. O--"0
 
First things first.....WELCOME ABOARD! Glad to have ya here!
As for info, any radiator that will fit into a rad. shell that is BB worthy will work. If you don't have a radiator to fit your bucket, you can get some more info in our info pages here. You can get alot of good info from all the members here also, don't think theres a overheating problem here that hasn't been experienced and cured.
If you have a old copper radiator, have her flushed good. If you have to go with the new Aluminum rad's, get one that has more rows of cooling fins, flo more, go with a high flow waterpump. And have yourself a good flowing fan thats set to the right clearence to the radiator.
BigBlocks CAN make alot of heat, just like a blower motor, Running waterless coolant is good, or waterwetter is also excellent....
A good, well thought cooling system should suffice....
