No such tickets here in Florida. The center of my headlight is 17 1/2" from the road.

Thanks guys. We always used copper here. No problem, maybe because the weather? Good question!!

And about the front lights, no problems with the law. :laugh:

I think the problem is work harden lines getting hard and breaking. I guess if they don't vibrate you can get away with it. I'll use steel on mine. John
 
There are harder grades of copper out now. They stand up to more extreme pressures.
 
I like the shifter kool idea But is it going to change gears when you get on it or hit the brakes and it go's in to park . Im just thinking iit maybe top heavy.

Will have one lock to avoid unlikes changes. I'm very afraid with that.
