[IMG]This will be a T-bucket with a dirt track race car flavor. Engine is a 300 Ford six cylinder with a 3-speed manual tranny backed up with a Ford 9-inch rear end.

In the beginning, just exhaust, intake and carb. After it is finished and I see how it is running, will make changes... block is bored 030 over now.

    Thanks

Boy ain't that the truth. And I've made some doozies. But building my car still makes me jump out of bed every morning.

Cut the dash out. There will be a rollbar welded to the frame that will go up behind where the dash was. The quick disconnect steering wheel mount will be welded to that bar. There will also just be a couple of guages mounted to the right side of the bar right underneath the cowling...

The interior will be all aluminum. Racked my brain figuring out how to do this. Finally came up with the idea of using these steel bars from Lowes. I cut slits every half inch so I could bend the bars to the contours of the body. They will be fiberglassed in using chopped up fiberglass mixed in resin (from the hamb) to bond them to the body. Hopefully this way they will not ghost from the outside. This may or may not be the best way to add the aluminum but it's what I came up with so that's that.....
