Pontiac Front wheel cylinder line adapter

Here is my problem. I was told the brakes are off a 1961 pontiac catalina.
The rubber hoses are shot and were to short anyway. So i ordered adapters
To go from the wheel cylinder to a -4 an. All the steel lines are 1/4". The
Adapter end threads into the wheel cylinder is shorter than the threads on the
Original rubber hoses. The hoses have an inverted flare. Looking into the
Wheel cylinder threads i do not see a flare to match which seems impossible.
Anyway does anyone know where to buy an adapter for pontiac wheel
Cylinders that has the same thread depth as the original hoses ?

I don't know that you have to seal against that inverted flare in the wheel cylinder. When I converted
mine to a SS line, I used a banjo fitting. All you would need is a flat area around the threads in the wheel
cylinder for a soft washer like copper or aluminum to seal against.

Never thought about using a banjo.

Too make it work I had to swap sides with the wheel cylinders. If I didn't then the line would have
been directed right back into the backing plate. Just the opposite of what you see in the photos.

The banjo fittings are on. Now to the next problem. See my next post.
