TP steering joint

i was wondering what you guys have done if anything about the total performance steering sleeve have you replaced it with a steering joint or left it as is i have herd instances were the steering shaft splits were it goes into the box

anyone know what size? the end of the steering shaft is round and split on both sides the steering box saft has a pin going through it that the shaft slides on with a coupler over top
