Does anyone know a source for Failsafe Washers (conical) for front suspension preferably Chrome or Stainless Steel.

It is a washer that allows hemi rod ends to move but will contain the rod end if the ball falls out.

Try McMaster Carr. They have all kinds of washers including stainless that will do that.

The only place that I needed something like that was on the steering arm end of the drag-link . I made the cone spacers out of aluminum & used SS fender washers for safety washers there & eveywhere else..

I used chrome washers called "fender" or "area" washers. I got them at Ace Hardware.

I got mine at a local speed shop. I know that does not help where you are, but am sure Speedway sells them.
