When do we get our vouchers?

Has anyone heard? I figure since we are all going to become 'owners' of GM we should be able to go to a dealership and pick out our cars. Maybe the voucher is in the mail. I'm ready for a new car.

After they get redesigned there should be plenty to chose from.

Your voucher as of the end of buisness today was worth a whopping 1.05 per share.

I think if you have any S&H greenstamps they are worth more than GM stock. I think 10,000 green stamps would get you a new pickup.

Before this is done Toyota will me making the 2012 corvette ( i hope not) but it seems like they just dont get it!!!!! They still think they can build Surburban's untill we all come to our senses. The new Camaro average cost of a entry level V8 is 33.000. That seems to be a bit out of the average guys reach these days. With 10% down the payment would be over 750.00 per month for 5 years. GM needs a brain transplant. Sorry for the rant i just wish GM would get it together

I have already decided that I will never again buy a GM or Chrysler product. I drive an 06 Dodge truck and really like it. My next truck will be Ford! These people are out of their minds!:

I'm with you on the camaro, all they need to do is make a model comparable to the mustangs.. Everyone knows that is a strong market, not to mention the aftermarket that would go along with it.. They need to make entry level v8 camaro about 22 to 24k and they would sell a lot of them..

Thats what i think. 22K to 28K and they couldnt makem fast enough. Who wants all that sat nav, heated seats,on star, 40 way adj seats, That was the beauty of the 1st gen ,it was simple and fun!!!!!! For instance i needed to replace a headlight on my F150 from a runin with a deer. The headlight was 128.00. What happened to the 12.00 headlight this is over simplified, be in this lies the problem.

This seems fitting for this thread.

If you now find yourself with a boo-boo lip, all I can say is you should have heeded my warning.

I can remember in '65 when a kid a year out of high school bought a new Cobra from the Ford dealer. His payments were $122 a month for 3years everyone told him he was nuts. He was a mec at the local Gulf station. last year he turned down an offer of just under 7 figures.

Ron

In 68 I saw a Cobra advertised in Road and Track. My plan was to fly to LA when I returned from Thailand in August of that year, buy the car and drive the it to my next assignment in Oklahoma City. I wrote the guy and we discussed a deal. I wrote my dad about helping me with a loan. Dad talked to the guy with the Cobra and told me he would help me get the $6,000 loan but he then pointed out that the payments and insurance would eat up my E-4 pay and that I would also need another car for the winter months. So he talked me out of it. It was just as well as I was married with a kid on the way a year later so it would have been a short-lived thrill as I would have had to sell the car. I often wonder what might have been.

Yea, they basicly take over an automotive manufacturer, which the president could even tell them what autos they would produce...

But they'll let the damned crooks at insurance companies and financial institutions piss away and steal billions and not even blink an eye....

The way things are in this country right now makes me want to move to Canada , France, or London.. Least you get free health care there..

Keeping the people oppressed financially is just another means if contol...

Canada is not much better, well the banks are a little safer but not much, we just took 12% of GM up here. Only thing saving GM in Oshawa is that we are the Camaro plant and they cannot keep up with the demand. (I won't get into taxes roughly 41% of your income total)

BTW those asking about the smaller Camaro, the v6 version is still listed atr 300hp and is around $20-22,000. Sure the v8 is more but thats to be expected. A 400hp+ Car for $35,000 thats not a bad deal.

Mike that video is great :D

They getting near 25% here anyways and anything having to do with the medical industry is gonna cost you out the A$$ anyways... Think we would be way better off going to a national health care system..
Atleast the pharmacutical companies couldn't rip you off everytime you have to buy pills or fill a prescription.

Watch that movie called Sicko on the movie channel it will make most americans madder than you know what. Too know that 9-11 responders got better health care and cheaper prescriptions in Cuba than they could in the USA... A $120 inhaler cost a woman a nickel in cuba for the exact same medicine.. So who's paying for it??? We are....

I was listening to Auto Trend radio the other day and they said Chevy had presold 14,000 Cameros. Go figure.

As for Canadian free health car: My friend that lives in British Columbia travels to Washington State for anything serious.

As for prescription: Like um or not, Walmarts sells most all prescription drugs at $4.00 per prescription and $10.00 for 3 months. The VA $7.00 and they will write it to Walmarts if you so want.

As for ever buying another new Obama Motors vehicle...Not a chance. I still have a '72 Olds 442 convertable and a '66 Chevelle stationwagon so I'm fixed for life. And I just learned of a '64 SS Chevelle this afternoon. Now if I can just get the great "O" man to send me a voucher for that....

True you get health care, you do not get prescriptions covered unless you are on a plan from work. (Cost me roughly $90 a month). Only real big downside are the wait times. I waited 18 months to see a back specialist to be told 5 minutes into the appointment that "I can't do anything for you, go see your family doctor" Needless to say its not all great.

Granted I would rather this system then the one in the US. (I am a US citizen), I would be bankrupt if I had to get my pain treatments every 2 weeks in the US.

Oh yeah grab that 64 I really like those cars!

The vouchers will go to the government officials.. You know free cars for all politicans and their family members.. Not to mention the insurance company presidents and bank presidents...
