Here is the Vette out and ready to run. He had some traction problems in hi gear and was having to let out of it. It did run 4.61 at 152 mph. That was 1/8" mile. All motor no power adders on it.

Then here is a good friend of mines little VW bug. This car is completley street legal and get driven on the street quite a bit. Turbo charged with NO2. It runs 6.o s all day long at 125mph.

They had the Vette out again tuning on it. It runs 4.50 in the 1/8 and its first full 1/4 mile pass it went a 7.22 at 188 mph. This is all motor, no NOS or blower on this motor. They are confident it will go in the 6s and over 200 mph... Just thought I would share.

Looks like they have 4 link working pretty good. Mike what do you think?

Pre-load is off a bit, but it looks like they had the shovel stuck in the dirt. From there, we all know the equation. More money to make more horsepressure. ;) It's a bit like opening Pandora's box, isn't it. You go fast, so you want to go faster. You build more power and then suddenly the car wants a different clutch combination or a different convertor. Then you start seeing where gear ratios could be changed a bit. By then, the Joneses have built a new motor that makes 12 more HP, so you're back in the shop, trying to milk some more out of the cylinder heads. And once you find it, then it's right back to trying to get the car right to keep the motor happy, all over again. It never ends.

The shorter fellow in the Skull uniform looks a lot like Bob Newberry. Anyone know who it is?
