Anyone see the blue wire!!!

My son's buddy had an international scout. All the wires were green, no it tags.

I had a '77 Scout Traveler. All the wires in the dash were green. There was a little white number at the end of each wire next to the connector with the circuit number. Fun indeed!

You can buy wire "sleeves" for different size wires. I bought a boat that needed a lot of work including wiring. I decided to get the little sleeves and type the correct names on a bunch of them. They come on strips that can go in a typewriter. I made up sleeves for every wire. I completely re-wired the boat. It looked very nice. It was only a few months later that I discovered that my typing was not "oil proof". This was a high performance boat.....oil is everywhere. A year later, very few wires still had readable printing in the sleeves. I think I still have some of the sleeves. The boat and typewriter are gone.
