Auto-cancel Turn Signal Design

I am planning on using Guide style head lights, and noticed some newer vehicles where the head lights shut off on the side that the directionals are on. Are these newer vehicles' head lights only shut off with day time running lights? or with the head lights on too? or did this car have a burnt head light? Not to many people use dirrectionals now a days anyways it seems but how most Rods try to have small, inconspicuous directionals and this might help to be seen.

That's a new one. Think it must have been a bum headlight or bad wiring.
I've introduced a bill that would allow deadly force to be used against drivers who don't signal their turns.
I use the biggest brightest turn signals I can. Somehow gotta grab the attention of all those distracted drivers.

Good luck with that, unless you can somehow figure out how to make THEIR phone beep or flash!

I saw that feature just yesterday for the first time. A Subaru was coming at me and he put on his turn signal. Just then that headlight went out. Amazing. I never saw that before.

@PotvinGuy - This may be somewhat OT but nevertheless, I took your advice about using a Dakota Digital GSS-2000. I drilled holes in my dash for individual LED's and hooked it all up and it works great with a full manual reverse pattern 700R4. I just had to make my own mounting bracket and control arm but the setup was simple.

Ah, glad it worked out. I'm doing the same in my T:

The knob drives the electric shifter and the GSS-2000 drives the lights to confirm the shift.
