Battery Question

Any one on here ever use Northstar Batteries? My Optima is on the way out and Iplan to change to Northstar. ............

I have not heard of Northstar, but there are a ton of companies out there rebranding the AGM batteries now. They are used in solar power applications so they are showing up everywhere.

Just find out where they are made and go from there.

It may be different now, but years ago, we had a local battery warehouse. They sold to the public. A fellow employee went by to buy a battery. In asking which brand was best the dealer asked what brand he wanted it to be, showing him caps and logos from several brands, that were installed on the bulk cases. I know this cannot happen to color and case design specific brands, but like tires, before the Asian and Euro brands entered, there were probably less than 5 manufacturers. Competition is good, is my belief. Glad to see more brands on the market. Is any of this relevant. More coffee!
