I'm getting ready to mount the body to the frame, does anyone put any type of cushion between body and frame?

We don't normally, but NAPA sells a roll of sealer, that is for putting camper shells on pick up beds. You might check that out.

I use 3" aluminum pucks 3/4" to 1" thick at each bolt hole to adjust height of body to frame for the profile of the fit of body to frame. Total Performance did it this way and used Nutserts in the frame and bolts with 2" to 3" washers inside the body. Works good and held the body on when my son wrecked my other T.
