C6 Transmission issues

I have a completely rebuilt C6 that was going to go behind a fresh 302 into a CCR frame ... the C6 has a 13" tailshaft ... way too long! I need the 7" tailshaft housing and output shaft for a C6. Does anyone have one for sale or known where in the Dallas area I might find one?

Project is on hold until I can resolve this issue.

just currious how come you didnt use a c 4 ? they came behind 302 s and arent a bad transmission ,

At the time I went looking, I could not find a C4 ... local transmission shop said they were getting rare. I found a C6 less than 1 hour after talking to the transmission shop guys and went that route ... only paid $50 for the C6 and then another $450 getting it rebuilt. Never gave it a second though that it was going to be too long. Had engine and trans 8 weeks before the frame arrived.

I have since found several C4s, but having the time and money already invested in the C6, I would like to continue that route unless I run into a total dead-end.
