cap for fuel sender

Couple of pics of the fuel sender cap. I will run the wires out thro the hole and into the perch. Yellow shrink tube so they get lost against the color of the chassis

I don't see any wires. Are you using radio telemetry? Send me a jar of that stuff.
The tank finish really looks great.

I have not followed this thread completely, but what type of vent do you have for the tank?
The cap looks like a cast iron pipe thread cap. Nice work.

Come on now. Telemetry always comes in boxes, not jars.

There is another thread on the fuel tank which shows pics of the internals during construction. Cap is a rad cap from Speedway. The thread was so bad I had to thread cut the neck to make it fit.

How is your wife holding up to all the bits of metal stuck in your shoe soles after playing on the new lathe? Can be really hard of floors if you are not careful to remove the offending shoes at the right time...

Theres a man speaking from experience. Yep I got a telling off. No idea why I think alloy swarf can look attractive in a modern room. The bit she stood on did nt help any

Ayup, when SWMBO isn't happy, nobody is happy. Ouch.

My wife gets on me about those lathe turnings, too. :rulz: What really doesn't help is the fact that the lathe is in the basement, so they get tracked upstairs. Good lookin' tank, Gerry!:thumb:
