Cheap T Project

I take pictures with my NIKON digital camera , then upload them to my desktop via my usb port. I right click my photo on the desktop & left click "edit". Then i left click "size". I then left click on "pixels" then i change the pixeled size to 1200 pixels by 900 pixels. The resized photos post to my thread without any problems. PS: I have windows 10.
I've found that my phone won't let me upload if the pix are too large. I can resize them right from my phone prior to sending. The 3 photos from lincolnT were sent from my phone.

I posted them right from the email no resizing at all.........

No, I've not tried another browser. I'm very used to firefox and like it. It's never been an issue on this site before.
I like Firefox to, but trying another browser would PROVE if the problem is there. Wouldn't it be better to know for sure!

If you are running on a wireless signal, then I would look there next if the browser is not the problem. It's common to both your computer and phone. Try power cycling all the involved components, router, modem, switches. If you have a dual band wifi, make sure you are NOT using the 2.4 GHz band, move to the 5 GHz band. There is less interference at the 5 GHz frequency and speeds are higher.

You could also temporarily connect with a cable to see if the problem goes away. This would identify if the problem is with the wifi. This assumes you are using wifi of course.

When you log back in, do you check the box for "Stay logged in".

I've had trouble on this site with Firefox. So much so that I stopped even trying to use it here. I use MS Edge now and it works fine.

I honestly never looked at the stay logged in box…..! New kid here. First ever forum. Should I check that so I’m not chasing my tail and freaking out? Feeling even more stupider now.

Don't put yourself down! We all have different skill sets, and that's the reason this is a "forum" and not just a collection of essays. We learn from each other! You're doing great!!! :D

Yes ..... click in the box to place a check mark in that box before you login. Don't worry about feeling stupid, it's not going to help. I worked in IT for nearly 15 years, you wouldn't believe the things I've encountered with some users!! You are far from hitting the top 10 list!!!!!!!

But honestly I don't think that's going to fix your problem. It's just too easy not to do that, so why not try it.

But you didn't answer my question about wifi??? ...... Are you using wifi or are you connected by a cable?

Don't put yourself down like that CheapT. Nobody's PERFECT !! I crawled before i could walk. How about you ?

I guess if nothing else works I’ll look into another browser.
I would take every thing below to the Lounge or Computer Issues category, no need to fill up your build thread with this off topic posts!

Are you using Windows 10, then you already have 2 other browsers available to try. If you don't have shortcuts already on your desktop, then follow the instructions below. Don't get frustrated, be cool, methodical and follow exactly as shown below.

Click on the Windows flag upload_2023-3-29_17-55-25.png in the bottom left corner of the screen.

When the menu open up upload_2023-3-29_17-58-3.png start typing
"inter" (No, there is no place that looks appropriate to type, just start typing). Click on "Microsoft Edge" or "Internet Explorer".

Go to the TBucketeer forum.
BTW, you can just copy/paste the address from Firefox to the new browser. Don't try to type it in.

It's going to require you to login since it's a new browser. so you will have to type in the User Name and Password.
Try posting a long post, this is probably more about time and not about the amount of text. So type something, wait a 5-10 minutes, then finish up.

I HAVE A LONG UPDATE TO POST. NOT HAVING EVER BEEN ON A FORUM BEFORE, I'M NOT SURE OF POSTING ETIQUETTE. I DID TAKE THE SUGGESTION TO COPY AND PASTE FROM A WORD DOC.

I'M STARTING TO UNDERSTAND WHY THIS PROCESS TAKES SO LONG FOR SOME OF US. SPRING AND SUMMER SPENT DOING OTHER DUTIES. FALL COMES AND NOW I CAN GET BACK TO IT. HOPING TO GET IT GOING BUY SPRING (JUST NOT SURE WHAT YEAR!)

MY UPDATE – I HAD HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE DRIVER SIDE RADIUS ROD NOT FITTING AT THE FRAME THE SAME WAY AS THE PASSENGER SIDE. I MEASURED AND CHECKED AND CHECKED. I ATTACHED A PIECE OF BAR STOCK TO EACH BATWING. RIGHT SIDE PERFECT. LEFT SIDE ALMOST 2” AWAY. TURNED OUT TO BE A BENT LOWER MOUNT ON THE BATWING. FITS PERFECT NOW.

I'M USING A RACK ON MY RIDE. THE ENDS ARE THREADED 9/16-18. THE ROD ENDS I'M USING ARE THREADED 5/8-18 SINCE ALMOST NOBODY MAKES THEM IN 9/16. I FOUND THE SOLUTION AT A COMPANY CALLED RACECRAFT. THEY CALL THEM BUMPSTEER SLEEVES. I ORDERED 9/16-18 RH ON ONE END AND 5/8-18 LH FOR THE OTHER END, (THE ROD ENDS ARE LH THREAD) Search Results -> bump steer sleeve : Racecraft, Camaro Mustang Chassis Suspension K-Member Control Arm Drop Spindles Fabrication

I'M CLOSE TO FINISHING THE BODYWORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AFTER QUARTERING THE BODY. (3” WIDER 5” LONGER) NOT EVERYTHING REALIGNS AS IT SHOULD I'VE DISCOVERED. I NEED TO BIUILD A FRAMEWORK TO SECURELY HOLD MY WINDSHIELD POSTS. ONCE THAT'S DONE I'LL PRIME IT. PAINT COLOR IS BLACK PEARL METALLIC. I'M THINKING OF ADDING COPPER FLAKE TO THE PAINT AND USING A BRONZE/ COPPER PEARL OVER IT ALL. I'M PLANNING THE INTERIOR COLOR TO BE CAMEL TAN/BROWN. THESE COLORS SHOULD MATCH THE BURNT COPPER ENGINE/TRANS PAINT. LASTLY I'M CONSIDERING FLAMES. NOT SURE IF IT WOULD BE TOO MUCH THOUGH.

I NOW HAVE A COWORKER THAT I CAN BOUNCE IDEAS OFF OF AND HELP SORT OUT PROBLEMS AS THEY ARISE. WE'RE GOING TO TRADE OFF HELPING EACH OTHER. HE'S GOT HIS OWN BUCKET THAT IS SUPER CUSTOM. DONNY RAY WOULD LIKE IT! I'LL TRY TO POST PICTURES OF HIS CAR.

They would be easy and quick to build if everything else stood still. That’s not been my reality. I thought things would be simple after my kids left... no such luck!

Speaking of etiquette, typing in ALL CAPS, is considered to be shouting. I don't think that's what you meant, just wanted to let you know for your future posts.
