You might want to ask the folks who just did the ceramic coating for you what they would suggest.

I did. They suggested a quick shipment to their facility for stripping and re-coating. Actually, I think this is what is going to happen, as long as I can get the track to take care of the bill. We'll see, my mileage may vary.

It's only money <he says, as if the stuff grows on trees>. Just remember, you can't take it with you. I officiated at more funerals than I ever cared to do, and I never saw a Brinks truck in any of those processions to the cemetery.

You'd be surprised on how many single headers we see back where they had plastic burnt on, paint overspray, or just plain burnt from fire. It happens alot and we usually give a good deal to our customers on the redo. We do it basically for break-even, but its good business. Your coater may do the same.
