coil holder...

I didn't like the look of the chrome after market coil holders,So
I whipped up a holder out of 1/2" aluminum mounted thru the
firewall with two 1/4" studs...

How did you secure the coil to the bracket?Nice looking bracket nice and clean.

i have a friend/former customer who came up with something simular. he had a problem with the coil vibrating to the point od the wires coming loose. he drilled and tapped for a set screw on the inside. nice work!!!

right now it is a tight press fit,if it comes loose I'll tap for a set screw..

might have to remove the cover over the resister if it doesn't get enough air flow.
