Guys, I am putting my 'vair box back together after reversing and I have a question. The side cover that the lash adjusting screw goes through, does not have threads for the adjusting screw (on my box), is it supposed to have threads? If so, I will have to put in a helicoil. If not then the only adjustment can be a "pull" adjustment. Is this OK?

It is supposed to have threads. 5/16-24. get the heli coil kit.

When you go to adjust that box it needs to be centered and when you are done it SHOULD have a slight tight spot in the middle. This keeps the wheel tighter when driving straight ahead.
