Ct.T builders VRS,DMV.

Ct T builders what hoops do we need to jump through to get a T registered today?Years ago there was a hand out saying exactly what standards you needed to meet. DMV here (Putnam)says that's no longer available and couldn't say where to get this refering me to the web side which shows nothing but smog info.

Leon, I don't know if you've seen this or not but here's a link to some information on CT rules. It doesn't give a detailed inspection list but it does give some information and a link to a printable application form.

Mines not quite to that point yet, I'm hoping this spring. But I have been looking into it. The web sight posted by Der Spieler is about the best info I've found, but keep in mind that that web page is not owned by the CT DMV.

There are a few pages on the official DMV web page, but very little infomation... Check out the emission rules on that page, they changed since I started building.

If your building a total kit you may want to talk with Brain, he should have some useful info

From what I've been told by others expect to jump though flaming hoops the first time... They inspect the car, check the paperwork, give you a list and you take the car home. when you bring it back they ask "Did you fix everything?" you say yes and you get your plates... A lot is left up to the inspectors.
