I bought this kit car that someone titled back in 1982 its titled 1923 roadster T bucket. The front end wanders and hard to control past 20 MPH. I bought a new steering box and checked the king pins. I also installed a steering stabilizer shock and shocks in the front. I did notice the new cast iron steering box adjusting screw was very loose, so I finger tightened it clockwise and another complete turn to take some play out of the steering wheel. Drove it and it still wanders bad and hard to control, so I Tightened up the gear box screw a little more by adjusting the set screw another 1/2 turn clockwise. It seemed to help some more. All steering rod connections are tight, and I lined up the front tires to the rear by eye. Drove it and it tracks true going slow but on bumpy back roads it wanders all over the place and bouncy when it hits small bumps and dangerous. It wanders on the highway too so I can't even go past 40MPH on a relatively smooth road. The tires are 14" steel belted radials. Any suggestion would sure help.
