Here are a couple of pics. The engine in this T weighs 200 lbs. more than a typical SBC but the spring handles it fine.

409T Do you think it rides any softer than the spring stack up?

We have 2 T-buckets, one with a 110" or so wheelbase, sbc and stacked front spring. The second has 120" wheelbase, 409 engine and mono spring. The 409 T rides the smoothest, but that could be due to the extra engine weight and longer wheelbase. It would be perfect with a jag rear end instead of the Ford 9 inch.

The long wheelbase is definitely a softer ride!
